Restoration by Costikyan® (RBC) assures that the service guarantee shall be in effect for that original purchaser, for fabrics and carpet protected with Fiber-Shield Products; this service guarantee is non-transferable.  This guarantee is good only in the event that RBC is the ONLY company contracted to clean the carpeting and/or fabrics.  This service guarantee must be renewed annually by a complimentary inspection of the items protected, by a professional representative of RBC®.  At that point it may be advised that a full cleaning may be warranted to maintain the integrity of the fibers and necessary for renewal of this service guarantee.
 
In the event of a stain caused by an accidental spill such as beverages, food, grease, etc., the stained area SHOULD BE CLEANED PROMPTLY.  Use only products provided by RBC®.  Do not use over-the-counter products; if these are used , an honest description of what exactly was used and in what quantity is essential to assist the technician in determining how to appropriately chemically proceed. If you are unsure of what to do, call the office, and we will advise you or schedule a service visit.   If a stain remains, an RBC®  representative will make all necessary arrangements with their professional cleaning service technicians to provide assistance.
 

This Service Guarantee is provided FREE IF:

1. RBC®  is contacted or notified directly by the purchaser within 2 days of the staining which leads to the service claim.

2. The item has not been misused, abused, or altered in any way.

3. The damage or stains are NOT a result of bleaching agents, dyes,* acids,** burns, water/moisture (ie: mold/mildew) damage, corrosives, adhesives, candle wax, other extreme or unusual hazardous items or caused by acts of God.  RBC®  also can not guarantee the removal of these types of stains.

4. The upholstered piece on which the stain occurs is not deemed to be a specialty fabrics. This can be defined as a special pile chenille or velvet, usually accompanied  by  very noticeable shading.  Due to the nature of these fabrics, when a spot occurs the section of  the piece containing the spot needs to be fully extracted to minimize the appearance of a change in the nap.  RBC® I will be happy to send a technician to assist you in the removal of a stain, however a service charge will apply.

5. They are not other specialty fabrics/carpeting i.e.: silk, rayon, linen, natural sisal, jute, jacquard weaves, and non colorfast fibers. Due to the content of these fabrics complete spot/restoration may not be possible and additional charges may apply.
   A service call is defined as a stain caused by an accidental spill.

6. Area maintenance cleanings can be defined as a room full of spots or many footprints being tracked in by workmen.

7. Area maintenance cleanings are not free. We are able to do area maintenance cleanings for an appropriate fee.

8. Client is entitled to four complimentary service calls per year. 
    
   This service assistance guarantee is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, and no agent, salesperson or employee has the authority to vary or waive any term or make other terms in connection with this service assistance guarantee and assumes NO other liability in connection with the sale of this product including merchant ability and fitness.  RBC® shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect damages of whatever kind and shall only be required to clean the stained area and if necessary, re-apply the Fiber-Shield product at NO CHARGE.  RBC® shall not be responsible for any fuzzing that occurs when the customer rubs the carpet inappropriately or when it is necessary to work on an a difficult stain for a long time or several times. RBC® shall not be responsible for any color loss or change that can sometimes occur with an acid and/or dye stain.

NOTE: Due to the nature of some fabrics, rugs and carpeting, delicate natural materials (i.e.. linen, silk, moire, natural sisal and non-colorfast dyes) can prevent our company from successfully removing some staining. These are materials that require dry cleaning only. Unfortunately, this process greatly restricts the removal of staining. Therefore, RBC® I cannot guarantee removal from these materials. A representative from RBC® I will inform you if you possess any of these materials.
Rugs with specialty backing i.e.: jute, cotton or rubber, may result in a rippling or bubbling effect to water when spot or full cleaning is needed. RBC® shall not be responsible for repair cost with this type of occurance.
RBC® agrees to provide service free of charge for accidental spills of coffee, tea, red wine, Kool-Aid, grape juice, plant stamen, ink, etc. However, due to the high acid & dye content in these types of spills, complete restoration can not always be guaranteed.

*DYES: May be defined as animal/human urine (yellow dye) vomit and/or feces.
**ACIDS: May be defined as animal/human urine, vomit and/or feces.
